Here we go, the 2nd and final (for now) installment of the top African fashion weeks I'd love to be a part of either on the runway or getting the juice behind the scenes for you.
This event rocks the Maputo fashion scene every December.

7. Kampala Fashion Week (Uganda)
This is a newbie in the East African region and honestly I am so impressed. They came out swinging with social media and imagery on point (their instagram is my favourite of all the fashion weeks) and I can't wait to see where it all goes in the future.
Look out for the uber-cool shows in October.

8. Accra Fashion Week (Ghana)
Another newb on the African fashion calendar is Accra Fashion Week which also goes down in October.

9. Lagos Fashion & Design Week (Nigeria)
Need I say more?
Lagos and Nigeria in general is a front-runner on the continent for taking fashion seriously as a career and an industry, so don't be shocked to see buyers, models and designers from around the world attend this event. It's a must-see at least one October in a fashion-lover's life.

10. Tunis Fashion Week (Tunisia)
Swinging it up to the Maghreb we have some graphic and daring work being shown in Tunis every year.
Think theatrical mixed with chic, floaty and elegant. Into it. Showcases are in May every year.

And of course I had to show love to my first personal experience with any fashion week which was last year October at the first eve NMBFW in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
The future is bright! Peep more of what happened in my vlog and my blog post.
