Hey friends :)

WELL. This first week of the birthday month has been the busiest one RE:modelling probably for this whole year (lol that's fairly sad but I guess not if I remind myself what else this year has served).

I'm writing this in bed with toothpaste on my pimples in recovery from day 1 of Nelson Mandela Bay Fashion Week 2016, the first ever fashion week in Port Elizabeth and my first one too. DUDE. BEST. Behind-the-scenes juice will be up on Snapchat (@frameambition) all weekend.

(this is make-up, not the aforementioned toothpaste. Just in case you wondered ;)

So this past week. I once again lent my hair and my scalp to art- this time around in the form of multi-coloured braids by Beauty at Carlton Hair PE for the Eastern Cape Hairdressing Championships.

My final updo for the 'Creative Braiding' category, styled by Beauty live on stage.

Jordan and I selfie-ing it up after she was done modelling the 'Catwalk' category- also for beauty.

Weeks of prep, tubes of dye and seven live styling sessions later, our girl B won the top junior stylist in the Eastern Cape with more trophies than she could carry home. YAS, girl.

When people ask me why I model, I think they have a warped idea of free stuff and glamour or narcissism but honestly there's something about helping an artist bring their idea and their creativity to life. That's it for me. Might sound lame but there you go. Congratulations and well done Beauty!!

More #ModelDiaries on my socials and watch out for a behind-the-scenes vlog of the hair show this weekend.
