Onwards and Upwards
Hey hey friends!
I do hope your weekend has been super, mine certainly has! I'm back in the land of the living after a gruelling bi-annual portfolio exam period at uni. Things got rough man. But it's all good now!
So good in fact that I've been able to secure a job with an architect's firm here in PE and keep an eye out for a bunch of modelling contests/opportunities both here and internationally.
You may have seen on the facebook page my plea for all of your votes for the Model Management Fresh Faces competition 2014- it takes seconds and you're allowed a vote a day. It could mean a chance for me to go to the grand final in Barcelona this year where there'll be scouts, agencies, the works so please help a sista out!

Second thing, which I found out about yesterday is the 'Face of Truworths' contest here in SA. They'll be holding open castings this month at Truworths branches throughout the country on the following dates:

My good people, I hope that in whatever it is that you do, you're on the hunt for opportunities as well. Or even better, making them up for yourselves. As I go along this mess of being a young adult in our world I've come to realise that few things are more effective (and simple) than just gunning for the things you want. It may even be the only way ;) but what do I know :P
