A Week in the French Riviera: Photo Diary
Hey friends :)
Well, week 2 of the great European adventure was a chill (bordering on lazy) one in Nice, and I regret nothing. The clearest blue ocean I've ever swam in, the most interesting mix of people and some pretty unreal nature in every direction. À la prochaine fois, la Côte d’Azur!
Gushing aside though, I was approaching the halfway point of my trip and had to swallow a couple of nasty pills. After going HAM partying in Venice and subsequently being down with the flu for a day or two in Nice, it was time to let go, take care of myself and accept that I’m never going to see everything, do everything or meet everyone, especially in one little trip like this.
So for a full day and a half I chilled indoors and rested instead of going hiking in Eze or going to the Picasso museum in Antibes. Sometimes you need to just lay low and watch Game of Thrones with your Couchsurfing host, man.
