20 Digital Nomad VISAS You Can Apply For NOW - Don't Get Got in 2021!

If there were any doubts before, 2020 probably solidified for most that people working remotely and even being location independent is here to stay.

A few countries have made a smart decision, in my opinion by rolling out special visas for digital nomads – or people who live a location independent lifestyle and can work from anywhere in the world.

I love this for everyone involved because:

1.       Places largely dependent on revenue from tourism can start to attract more people into their countries more safely and responsibly than quick holidays. You know I love slow travel.

2.       I say “safely” because unlike a vacation for a few days or even weeks, a mandatory quarantine period is not a huge deal when you know you have months or even a year to enjoy this place you’ve travelled to.

3.       If this becomes more popular maybe certain people can stop breaking laws and live/work somewhere legally! Yay!

Here’s a list of the countries that have rolled out specific digital nomad visas for you to live and do your work in the country - most for up to one year - and stay on the right side of the law re: taxes, immigration and such!
